The Eagles Nest Tree House in Monroe, Washington was hands down the best air bnb experience I have had the pleasure to enjoy! I believe this is what Air BnB was made for. To stay in extremely unique places, and be able to enjoy the area you're staying in.

Monty and his wife were a pleasure before we even arrived, they reached out beforehand to let us know about the weather and the experience of driving up the the tree house. They were extremely responsive to every request and question we had and went out of their way multiple times to make sure our stay was incredible!

Now, for the treehouse. PLEASE take the time to admire the details that went into this build. Every piece of wood you see was milled, cut, finished and laid by hand.

If there is a bit of wind, you will hear some creaking, but I think this sums it up. " It's not a tree house, it's a house, in the trees".

Where to start? You drive up the driveway, and the treehouse takes your breath away--it is perched on a hill, supported by gorgeous mature trees, whimsical and gorgeously crafted and absolutely at home in its surroundings. Up a few flights of wooden stairs and a metallic spiral staircase, and you've arrived. The wrap around decks are perfect for long, quiet afternoons and evenings of enjoying the birds, sky and trees. Inside? Inside is perfectly appointed--art, decor, and furnishings top-notch, with quirky touches and incredible engineering and artisanship visible everywhere you look. Windows abound--each one a picture-perfect vista of the trees surrounding you. Monty and his son have built something astonishing--not only designed to the highest structural standards, but somehow transcending the idea of what it means to be connected to nature. Amenities galore, to be sure--but at its core, this treehouse sings in harmony with the forest. A privilege to experience. Thank you, Monty!

We had an amazing time in the Eagles Nest treehouse. It was our 11th wedding anniversary and I was looking for something unique. This definitely was unique! The treehouse is incredibly well built and overall a lot of fun to stay in. Sitting on the porch, enjoying the views and the serenity was epic. We even got a small rain storm which was really neat to listen to with the metal roof. I can't recommend this place enough for a couple looking for a unique adventure.

Stayed here for one night with my 8-year-old son and this treehouse is really amazing! The craftsmanship is spectacular and you can see real attention to detail in every aspect of the place. It is genuinely high up and as 3 of the trees run vertically through the house you never forget you are in a treehouse.

It's perfect for 2 people, and it's better equipped than the listing currently shows. It has hot water, a microwave, toaster, and a portable 2-ring induction cooktop with skillet, as well as chopping board, knives and some pans. We were able to cook our own dinner and breakfast rather than living off snacks. Monty was also great about communication, quick to answer questions before and during the stay.

This place is magical, my son keeps asking when we can come back.

I had an incredible father son getaway with my six-year-old. This was a magical experience and I highly recommend for anyone who is comfortable with stairs and not afraid of heights.

This tree house is a work of art. The craftsmanship is incredible. Truly one of a kind!.

It’s such a unique experience to stay in the treehouse. The location is not too far from downtown and had all the necessary amenities. Very easy to find. The WiFi was spotty at first, but host was very proactive in resolving the issue. Phone signal can also be spotty since it’s in a forest. But beautiful views and very quiet surroundings.

My boyfriend and I came up from Chehalis to stay here and visit bobs corn and pumpkin farm:) the treehouse was warm and cozy, I was worried it would be cold but it was not. The bed and pillows also were very cozy. Lots of windows upstairs and downstairs to let air in if needed. My boyfriend and I both ended up sick the night before coming, so we ended up just laying in bed all day drinking tea and honey that the treehouse thankfully had lol. It was so comfy laying in the bed watching tv with the big trees surrounding the bed inside. Thank you Monty :)

Wonderful getaway in a very special place. So many thoughtful details went into building this unique treehouse, and it was wonderful to sit on the deck and enjoy the peaceful rain and birdsong. We're so glad to have had the experience - just wish we could have stayed longer!

Truly a one of a kind experience! We had a great time relaxing and just sipping coffee from the deck. Would recommend for anyone who wants to experience something unique and connect with someone close to them.

Absolutely great host, well worth a day or two. cant say enough about the great energy from Monty. I am a fan of the teeehouse and a fan of him as a person. the kinda guy that's so nice and welcoming you feel like you have known him for years. Thanks to him and his family. great experience!

The treehouse was beautiful, so peaceful and serene. Definitely would recommend to anyone. It does have a lot of stairs so be prepared for that. Besides that it is absolutely wonderful. And so worth the trek up all the stairs.
